The House

The house and cottages are set among mature grounds in a quiet location in beautiful rural surroundings on the north coast of Sligo Bay, 11 miles north west of Sligo town in the Yeats Country.

The house has been the family home since 1852. The residence offers tranquil, spacious and comfortable accommodation with a nineteenth century ambience, much original furniture and with four large en suite bedrooms. There is a notable feeling of quietness and peace as the nearest minor road is a quarter mile away.

Farm and Food

The 70 acre farm includes cattle, sheep, free range poultry, pigs and a variety of crops including, grain, potatoes, vegetables and fruit.

Much of the produce in the house is home produced or local with an emphasis on organic.

Menus are mainly traditional and endeavour to bring out the essential flavours of fresh ingredients.
